Marcia Tillotson, Managing Director-Investments and Financial Advisor, is originally from Louisburg, NC and a 1979 business school graduate of Appalachian State University.

She joined the financial services industry in 1987 with The Robinson-Humphrey Company, a subsidiary of Shearson Lehman Brothers / American Express.  She joined Interstate Johnson Lane (IJL) in 1996, a predecessor firm of Wells Fargo Advisors.  She is a registered representative and holds principal, supervisory, insurance and professional portfolio management certifications. 

Marcia serves on the endowment boards of the YWCA Central Carolinas and Queens University of Charlotte.  She is a member of the Federal Club Council for The Human Rights Campaign and founding member of the Plus Collective, a Foundation for the Carolinas Fund.

In 2012, Marcia was recognized with Wells Fargo Advisor’s Spirit Award, for extraordinary contribution to the culture of the firm.  Marcia and her wife, Sharon Blalock, reside in Myers Park in Charlotte.

Joy Kenefick, Managing Director-Investments and Financial Advisor, is originally from Miami, FL and a 1993 graduate of the University of Florida. Joy began her financial services career in 1997 with IJL, a predecessor firm of Wells Fargo Advisors. 

She is a registered representative, an investment-planning specialist, insurance licensed and holds PIM (Private Investment Manager) and RICP® (Retirement Income Certified Professional) designations. She has primary responsibility for portfolio management, investment planning and retirement income distributions.

Joy has been married to her husband Christian since 1998 and they have twin daughters, Ana and Sara.  In addition to Joy's passion and commitment for fiscal health and well-being, she is equally passionate about physical health and well-being as an avid yogi.

Joy serves as a board member for the Greater Charlotte Cultural Trust. She is a member of the Board of Visitors for Charlotte Latin School as a former trustee. She is also a member of Women’s Impact Fund, Women Executives and a lifetime member of Good Friends Charlotte.
